Lead Machinist

JOB REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

 

  *Self-motivated individual with strong leadership skills. 

 

  *2 year minimum supervisory experience.
  
  *Excellent communication skills.

  *Strong attention to detail.

 

  *Quality control/inspection experience.
 

  *Extensive knowledge and experience in machining with manual lathes and mills.

  *Ability to read blueprints. 
 

  *Ability to identify Carbon Steel, Galvanized Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel.

  *Strong background in shop safety.

 

  *Knowledge of machinery preventative maintenance and repair

 

 

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

 

  *Customer Service skills.

 

  *Quoting/Estimation.

 

  *Ability to draw shop sketches.

 

  *Quality control experience.

  *CAD/CAM Design.

  *Experience in CNC Machining - Lathe and Mill.

 

 

 

Hours are 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Thursday, with possibility of occaisional overtime Fridays or Saturdays

 

 

 

Compensation based on skills and experience.
