Shop Foreman

JOB REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

 

 

  *2 year minimum supervisory experience.

   

  *Ability to track job scheduling.
  
  *Excellent communication skills.

  *Strong attention to detail.

 

  *Quality control/inspection experience.
 

  *Substantial experience in Metal Fabrication - custom and production, Shearing, Punching, Forming(bend allowances, backgauge settings, etc), Welding (MIG & TIG), and Assemblies. 

  *Extensive experience in layout and forming with brake press.

  *Extensive experience in use of brake press back gauges.

  *Ability to read blueprints. 
 

  *Ability to identify Carbon Steel, Galvanized Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel.

  *Strong background in shop safety.

 

  *Knowledge of machinery preventative maintenance and repair

 

 

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

 

  *Customer Service skills.

 

  *Quoting/Estimation.

 

  *Ability to draw shop sketches.

 

  *Experience in shipping (Freight, UPS Worldship.)
 

  *Quality control experience.

  *CAD/CAM Design.

  *Experience in Machining - Lathe and Mill (CNC and Manual).

  
  *Experience in Plasma and/or Laser cutting.

 

  *Experience in welding (Certified welder a plus).

 

 

Hours are 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Thursday, with possibility of occaisional overtime Fridays or Saturdays
